To control abnormal material consumption during production posting and ensure paper usage remains within predefined acceptable limits compared to the Bill of Materials (BOM) requirement. This prevents over-consumption, under-reporting, and inventory inaccuracies.

The system validates actual paper consumption at the time of production posting against configured tolerance limits.

Users will not be allowed to post consumption that falls outside the permitted percentage range.

  • < 95% → Posting Blocked
  • 110% → Posting Blocked

  3. During output/consumption posting:
    • Compare actual consumption with Min/Max.
